This Edmonton brewery is dropping new brews for 1st anniversary

You know a brewery isn’t playing by the boring old rules when they call themselves the Irrational Brewing Company. And over the past year, they’ve been proving their uniqueness in many (55 to be precise) lip-smacking ways.

Just in case you haven’t spent an evening enjoying their craft beers with the squad yet, Irrational Brewing Company is the newest kid on the block. And while their beers are to die for, the food they serve alongside is not to be taken lightly.

They source their food from some of YEG’s most popular food vendors, Zwick’s Pretzels, South Island Pie Co, and Art of Charcuterie. Just FYI, you can also bring in your own food. How cool is that, eh?

So, the brewery celebrates its first anniversary on August 25th. And they’re doing it with a grand party that lasts all weekend long until August 28th.

For the occasion, they’re getting donut party to bring back their birthday cookie crumble (YAY!). And they’re launching three new brews that are intriguing, to say the least—

  • Hyperbolic 2022 – Imperial New England IPA 8.5% ABV
  • Elliptic 2022 – Imperial Passion Fruit Tangerine Apricot Sour 8.5% ABV
  • Parabolic 2022 – Imperial Pomegranate Rhubarb Season 10.0% ABV

Frankly, we’d just go there for the brews but the fact that they’re giving out limited edition glassware is definitely a perk. Oh, did we forget to mention that the brewery is also giving away glassware on all four days?

So, round up your gang (or go solo) and hit the Irrational Brewing Company this weekend. And don’t worry about leaving your furry friends behind. They’ll be just as happy on the brewery’s pet-friendly patio as you.
