Sweet Cane Lane returns to Edmonton. It’s essential to know that

For more than 50 years, Candy Cane Lane has been a highly anticipated Edmonton event to enjoy with friends and family over the holidays.

This year people will be able to walk or drive past the displays due to some restrictions, but there won’t be any fire pits or food trucks and volunteer help will be restricted, the Candy Cane Lane website says.

There is some good news, however. Sleigh rides will return this season and will be offered on multiple days this month. Book your ride in advance here.

According to the website, the journey takes 45 to 60 minutes and runs to and from the park at 148 Street and 99 Avenue. It’s $ 20 per person and free for children under 24 months.

Candy Cane Lane will run every night from 6pm to 10pm from December 10th through New Years, but pre-sale tickets are available now.

The Edmonton Food Bank will also have bins for visitors to bring a donation.
