Sweet Cane Lane Edmonton to return this winter with sleigh rides
In Alberta’s capital city, few events are as beloved as Candy Cane Lane – a spirited display that Edmonton brings to life every year.
For over 50 years, the lane has given city-slickers a reason to brave the chilly streets and 2022 will be no expectation.
As confirmed by the organization on its Instagram CCL will return with bulbs, fun themes and even sleigh rides this winter.
For those new to the area or that have never been, this annual affair lights up the community of Crestmont, where deeply committed residents decorate their houses from top to bottom.
From inflatable elves and candy canes to stars bears and reindeer, this event is one of the city’s favorites – not only because it’s truly beautiful, but because it also encourages people to give back as well!
“YEG Candy Cane Lane serves as an example of dedication, fortitude, and imagination,” they explain on their website.
