Safeway is internet hosting a free Edmonton Oilers celebration this Saturday

Presented by

If all Canadians can agree on one thing, it is that we have an incredible community of hockey fans. Whether we’re at tailgate parties, meeting our friends in a sports bar to watch the game, or wearing our favorite player’s jersey, we spread the love when it comes to our national sport. And we like to do that with good food.

To share in that community spirit, Safeway is partnering with the Edmonton Oilers to host a must-have, free event for this year’s 2019-2020 NHL season! The Safeway Food Experience is open to Oilers fans, hockey fans and Edmonton residents alike.

Stop by Safeway Oliver Square between 10am and 4pm this Saturday, November 9th for a full day of competitions, merchandise raffles and a chance to earn points through Safeway tokens and hockey-themed games to win.

Of course, no event is complete without food, so Safeway is also bringing out the Safeway Food Experience for the event – a 53-foot food truck that serves delicious free samples prepared on-site.

Make a note of this ultimate ice hockey celebration on your calendars and stop by Safeway Oliver Square in Edmonton this Saturday!
