PCL donates $ 26,000 to the Edmonton Meals Financial institution

EDMONTON, ALTA. – PCL Construction Inc. raised $ 26,000 from its employees for Edmonton Food Bank.

Of that, $ 19,500 is spent on business technology, marketing and communications, and other employees in the Edmonton area. Socially, PCL contributed an additional $ 6,500. An additional incentive for employees to raise money was that managers with lower donation numbers got a cake in their face.

“Part of our goal at PCL is to improve our communities in every possible way. We are grateful for our success despite the challenges of the past year and we are fortunate enough to give something back and help people who are struggling to make ends meet, especially at this time of the year. Thank you to everyone for making this campaign a success, ”said PCL President Dave Filipchuk.

“It was another difficult year for society in general, but it was fantastic to see business technology and marketing and communications come together to show how our PCL culture meets the needs of those in need,” added PCL CIO Mark Bryant added.

PCL also encourages others to donate to the Edmonton Food Bank during the holidays.
