Mustard Seed’s sixth Annual Household Present Heart returns December seventh and eighth in Edmonton

“We really want to give caregivers the dignity to choose their own gift for their children. Caregivers know their children best. You can use the Family Gift Center to choose a gift especially for your child or the children in your life. ”

Mustard Seed in Edmonton is hosting its 6th Annual Family Gift Center on December 7th and 8th.

At this year’s event, community members living in poverty or homeless are invited to buy toys for the little ones in their life for just one Tonie.

The gift center gives customers a sense of dignity.

“The reason we sell them for $ 2 instead of giving them away for free is because we want these people to be able to choose something, choose it, and have the integrity to say to these kids, ‘I have the ‘I chose this for you, I bought this for you.’ “

The money raised will be used to buy more toys for the event.

The Mustard Seed also urges Edmontonians to donate unwrapped toys and gifts to the Family Gift Center to help make the event happen. Gifts for children between the ages of 0 and 18 are welcome, for example cuddly toys for toddlers, dolls and handicrafts for children between 4 and 7, Lego sets and computer games for children between 8 and 12, and make-up and sportswear for teenagers from 13 years +.

Anyone who would like to donate new toys for children aged 0-18 can hand them in from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at street 10568 114.

Please bring donations to the back of the building
