Mattamy Properties celebrates the opening of Stillwater in West Edmonton
EDMONTON, 5th March 2018 / CNW / – Mattamy houses, North America largest private house builder, holds a lively opening event on Saturday March 10th, showcase Still water, the company’s first master plan community in the City of Edmonton.
The grand opening will take place on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mattamy Sales Center at 2110 199th Street NW. After a solemn severing ceremony in 11 clock, the nearly 500 expected guests will have the opportunity to tour the new sales center and seven fully furnished show houses as well as enjoy food trucks and family entertainment.
At the start of this community, a total of 81 units will be offered for sale, with more than 1,300 units making up the entire community during their sales period. Prices range from $ 200 for townhouses to $ 300 for single-family homes and include a limited number of condos that will go on sale when it opens.
“This particular community will showcase Mattamy’s signature thoughtful designs and offer homeowners a range of features that are both new and unique Edmonton“, says Dave Armstrong, President of Mattamy’s Edmonton Division. “It’s a sensational line of products that are meticulously based on Edmonton input from consumers and highly skilled architects. Our entire team looks forward to bringing it to market. “
Still water will have a distinct architectural flair and a mountain theme that extends across the entire community. Other community features are:
- A private, world class leisure center, the first of its kind in the area. Residents have exclusive access to a playground, hockey and ice rink, and wading pool, as well as a variety of activities that promote a healthy, active lifestyle.
- Single-family houses with double garage, a Edmonton Market first at this price.
Still water will be a fully planned community that embraces nature around it, mixing parks, trails, and green spaces. The highlight is a naturalized wetland that is strategically paired with a storm pond. Water from the storm pond is pumped into the wetland at certain times of the year to match the natural hydropower of the wetland. This approach is a novelty Edmonton and will ensure that the natural health and properties of the wetland complex are maintained in the future. The Wetland was developed in collaboration with Native Plant Solutions (Ducks Unlimited) and the local Mattamy team.
