Edmonton’s new Meals Corridor has simply opened a couple of steps from Rogers Place with 5 completely different ideas

Just in time for the start of the hockey season, a new food hall has opened right next to Rogers Place in Edmonton! The ambitious concept comes from the folks at JustCook Kitchens and offers different options for you to try out during your visit. Let’s check it out!

Basically, JustCook wants to create a space where Edmonton food concepts can come together under one roof, save costs and let the chefs focus on the food. Although it’s the first in Edmonton, food halls have proven themselves all over the world, from New York to Lisbon.

There are four different concepts in 5th Street Food Hall, and since they all sound equally interesting, we should probably give them the attention they deserve.

Backstairs burger

This place just opened last summer but has already become a must for burger lovers across the city. Keep it classic or try one of their delicious features.

SEITANS

There’s even a herbal option here! Seitans specializes in convenience options like vegan deep-fried chikun and pizza, as well as some delicious plant-based side dishes.

3 gourmets

Speaking of home cooking, the bottom spot on this list is tough. 3 Foodies focuses on classic southern-style diner picks and barbecue, from ribs to pulled pork and more.

Well folks, you have options, and we say you should try them all! Before your first Oilers game of the season, think about this new Edmonton meal, you’ll be lucky you did.
