Read the full statement here:

“After much deliberation, the board and staff of the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival have decided to postpone the 10-day festival in Churchill Square in 2021. Given the schedules and the great attraction our festival is, we think it is the most prudent one. ”Making a decision, albeit a very difficult one. The health and safety of our audience, artists, volunteers and staff is our top priority in our decision in the foreground.

However, StreetFest will be “festive” throughout summer 2021 with our EISPF Masked Parades sponsored by the EPCOR Heart & Soul Fund. In collaboration with the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues, the StreetFest spirit and joy will be demonstrated in various parts of Edmonton, all in compliance with applicable AHS-EPH restrictions and weather conditions.

Online street performing skills workshops will be available on the EISPF Play @ Home Zone website for those who prefer to join us in the comfort and safety of their homes. A very special online version of StreetFest’s acclaimed Comedy Cares program will bring our unique brand of healing variety and joy to those who need it most. “
