City police continue to investigate the suspicious death of a man who died in hospital following an assault.
On Jan. 12, at about 6:45 pm, Edmonton police responded to a home in the area of 172 Avenue and 102 Street for an assault where 41-year-old Adam Garrant was found injured. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy was completed this week, however, the cause and manner of death are not being released by police at this time for investigative reasons.
Detectives continue to treat Garrant’s death as suspicious and are asking anyone with information to contact police.
