I’ve been told I might come off a bit grouchy in my weather updates. I know we’ve never met but in general, I’m not a cranky person. (My husband might disagree)
I’m also not formally trained in the meteorological arts. (Hard to believe, I know)

We will see a mix of sun and cloud and a 30 per cent chance of some flurries this morning with a daytime high of -9 C. The overnight low will be -16 C.
As we look ahead, temperatures only improve. New Year’s Eve will see an overnight low of -15 C. That is ideal fireworks watching weather. And guess what?! We put together a handy dandy guide to many of the locations, in and around the city that are ringing in the new year by brightening up our skies with some holiday displays.
