Flurries of joy can reside, nay conquer, this forecast of piercing windchills, the ever-present threat of frostbite. May the hive of aggressions be released! No more honking, gripping steering wheels tight, cursing frost-encrusted buses, complicating trains, bumbling pedestrians, loud-muffler blowhards. Chipping crusts of ice off hearts, and the current time’s tendency to fall absent to the present, is warmth. Layers, hot shots, warm companions abound! Dustings of white, an eye to the warmer week ahead, insulated with more snowfall, whether you like it or not. The weather gives no heed. It’s its own bliss. You can’t beat it, join it, from a window hunkered down, hot drink in hand, or peeking out from layers, footfalls snapping across snow, ice, frozen slush. Staying warm, being warm, looking out for souls suffering, doing what you can.
