London, England, was named the best city in the world by Resonance Consultancy

Four other Canadian cities also made the list, including Vancouver, Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal

When choosing a place to live, work or travel, factors must always be taken into account. Security, sustainability and economic prosperity are just a few factors that need to be considered.

Resonance Consultancy, the group that evaluates the 100 best cities in the world every year via BestCities.org, has rated this year’s top cities again. For the first time, the ranking also includes the sustainability of a city and thus mixes up the traditional rankings. Check out the rest of this slideshow to see the fifteen best cities in the world.

The latest World’s Best Cities Report from Resonance ranks Calgary 49th and Edmonton 86th out of 100 cities in the world.

The report ranks cities based on six metrics: location, product, programming, people, wealth, and advertising.
