Why we love it: There is a new range of sportswear in Canada.

San Francisco-based Athleta brand is set to launch its brick and mortar e-commerce platform this month, slated to open this fall at the Yorkdale Shopping Center in Toronto and the Park Royal Shopping Center in West Vancouver.

“As a purpose-driven brand, we are excited to expand our community of confident and confident women and girls to Canada and offer them a differentiated and inclusive performance lifestyle offering,” said Mary Beth Laughton, President and CEO of Athleta in a press release .

Founded in 1988, Athleta offers “sustainable, inclusive, eclectic” lifestyles and active styles for women and girls, including tops, bras, pants and more, each described as “designed by women for women” according to the press release.

The company, certified by B Corp in 2018, uses sustainable materials in more than 70 percent of its products.
