An Instagram-worthy “artwork tunnel” has been opened in Edmonton

A new art mural landed in Edmonton’s Revolution Square this summer, and its inspiration comes from an unexpected location. In addition to a whole range of other installations and pop-ups, the people at VIGNETTES decided to go all out with this one.

That’s because this Briseway doesn’t have just one wall of color, it has three! Visitors are flanked on the left, right and from above as they walk through it. And they are treated with a vibrant geometric pattern all the way.

Have you already guessed the subject? If not, don’t worry – it wasn’t our first time either. It turned out that this new installation was inspired by none other than the original PAC-MAN video game. Okay, in hindsight, we might have thought about it a bit more before giving up on guessing ourselves.

But one thing we won’t give up is go there to check it out before summer ends! Maybe in the afternoon so we can stop by a nearby cafe before or after to make the most of it.
