Hey Edmonton! It appears that the less than ideal spring weather is taking a break this weekend, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Get outside, eat some delicious food, maybe hang out on a patio… you’ve got tons of options, all of which we definitely sign off on.

Here are the 10 best things to do in Edmonton this weekend.


Game seven, and it’s at home!? If there’s one thing you need to do this weekend, it’s cheering on the Oilers as they hope to finish off the Kings in the first round. If you can’t afford tickets to the game (join the party) then we suggest you check out all the best places in the city to join the excitement.

Feeling inspired by the Tour de France event coming to Edmonton? This weekend, you can check out the return of the massive Alberta Bike Swap, offering serious discounts on bikes across all price levels. Heck, if you want a bit of a challenge, you’ll get an even better deal of bikes that need a little TLC before they’re good to ride.

Our first indoor option this weekend is the Art Gallery of Alberta! Like the zoo, they’ve got a little something extra going down- the start of a series of concerts, held in the atrium, that are included with admission!

For the music fans, this TDE mainstay is bringing some of the best of conscious rap to Edmonton! It’s an easy sell, between his deeper-than-most lyrics and top tier production.

Canada’s longest running nonfiction film fest wraps up this weekend! However, those looking to enjoy the options at home will be pleased to know that they’re keeping the virtual side as well. And of course, it doesn’t hurt that single screenings are under $10!
